series VSCS |
|
The series VSC/VSCS double suction,
base mounted pumps, are available in a top discharge top suction
model VSC as well as a side suction, top discharge model VSCS shown
above. Pumps are available in 4" through 12" sizes, 1
HP through 700 HP. Available in bronze fitted construction with
flows to 10,000 GPM at 400 feet. The VSC/VSCS series offers tremendous
advantages over traditional horizontal split case designs. The vertical
flange configuration allows the series to provide up to 9000 lbs.
in static flange loading capability. This
vertical flange configuration also results in a pump "footprint"
which is up to 50% smaller then comparable horizontal split case
pumps. Bearings and mechanical seals
can be replaced without removal of the rotation assembly reducing
the down time required by servicing of the pump. A welded steel
baseplate and internally flushed mechanical seal are standard features
on this series. Used for applications with Hydronic heating and
cooling systems, general service and industrial equipment. |
