The Solstart is easy to set up, wire and operate,
utilizing three wires in, three wires out and three potentiometers
for adjustment. LEDs on the front panel
display starter status "On" illuminates when the three phase
are connected to the Solstart. "Ramp" lights upon start
command and during soft stop. "Run" illuminates at the end
of the acceleration period when the internal bypass relays close.
Adjustments are easily accomplished via three
potentiometers. The first sets initial
voltage (starting torque) and is adjustable from 0 to 80 percent.
The second sets ramp-up time to full voltage. The third controls deceleration
of high-friction loads by gradually ramping down voltage. Adjustment
range is 0.5 to 5 seconds.
